The most important thing to do when you start the process of choosing a degree program is to take a good look at your own interests and abilities:

  • What do you find fun?
  • What motivates you?
  • What can you do well?
  • How do you like to spend your time?

The advisors from the Student Advisory Center will support you in taking these first steps during the workshop on choosing a degree program. This involves taking an in-depth look at your interests and abilities, along with the opportunity to talk with a small group of people who have questions very similar to yours.

You will work together and develop ideas about possible directions you could take in your studies or future career. You will also learn methods to help you structure the multitude of information available on occupational fields, vocational training pathways, degree programs, and subjects. Following this, you will develop strategies to continue your process of choosing a degree program and work out the next specific steps to take.

The workshop is free of charge.

Please note: The workshop will be held in German.
